Ph.D. in Social Communication from Universidade de Brasília (2016) with a CAPES scholarship for a one-year internship at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (August 2014 - July 2015). Master in Applied Linguistics (2011) at the University of Brasilia (UnB). She has a degree in Translation and Interpretation (2001) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She is an adjunct professor at the undergraduate course in Applied Foreign Languages – Multilingualism and Information Society (LEA-MSI) and of the graduate program on Translation Studies at Universidade de Brasília. Leader of the research and extension group Acesso Livre and coordinator of the Accessibility Centre of UnB Idiomas. She is founding member of the Center for Assistive Technology, Accessibility and Innovation.  Her research focuses mainly on Audiovisual Translation, Audiovisual Accessibility, and Language-Teaching.
